-
Meteorology. Doppler
Radar WSR-98 D; Interpreting satellite
images; Analysis and interpretation- baric topography of the main isobar
levels; Analysis and interpretation of NWP (Numerical Weather
Prediction); Control and logical validation of real data from the meteorological
network.
Our laboratory is part of the Romanian Atmospheric research 3D Observatory
(RADO) network. This is a state-of-the-art facility aiming to improve
modeling of physical, chemical, and biological processes, to assess the effects of climate change, and to
quantify and reduce uncertainties in evaluating the hydrological cycle and its influence on natural
resources.
Acknowledgement. Our gratitude towards Faculty of Mathematics, Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi, for theirs fully support and help in order to
access to the Astronomical Observatory infrastructure.
