On this page we develop a pilot project, in a testing phase, to monitor the main sources (frequency of waves, their amplitude, etc.) that influence the vibrations of some buildings in Iasi, especially the building of the Palace of Culture in Iasi. The sensors mounted in the Clock Tower cover both the mechanical sources of ground vibration (Earthquakes, heavy traffic, heavy vehicles, atmospheric events, etc.) and noise sources that can influence the safety and integrity of fragile objects subjected to external stress.
