LORELAY Campaign Measurements:

Laser Optical REmote-sensing of atmospheric LAYers/

Its aim was to investigate the measurements planetary boundary layer (SLP) using laser remote sensing methods and through other complementary methods. Planetary boundary layer is the lowermost troposphere of great practical importance because we find mostly water vapor and aerosols; here, there are significant changes in weather and temperature issues.

In this campaign has made a comparative study of SLP forecast limited area Alaro model of the National Meteorological Administration, the SLP determined from LIDAR systems and IR imaging. During this monitoring period, were analyzed and interpreted meteorological data to validate the results.

Primele urme de particule minerale de origine sahariana au fost detectate in Romania inca din data de 1 aprilie 2014. Investigatiile sunt efectuate simultan in principalele centre universitare si de cercetare din Romania aflate in reteaua RADO (Bucuresti, Iasi, Cluj si Timisoara) folosind tehnici de teledetectie LIDAR.
